FF Sneak Peak

First Frame 2008:

The fourth edition of First Frame was held at Sri Satya Sai Auditorium, received 91 entries from 14 countries across the globe. With this edition, First Frame added another feather to its cap by introducing the F8 National Students’ Photography Competition.

 

First Frame 2013:

First Frame 2013 took the event to the next level with over 70 entries from the best media colleges like FTII Pune, London Film School, NID Ahmedabad and JamiaMilliaIslamia etc. The biggest names from the industry like Kingdom of Dreams, The Hindu, Tehelka and Sunshine amongst others, got associated with the festival. The jury saw eminent personalities from the industry like Mr.Zoobi Amir, Mr.HemantGaba and Mr. Ajay Bedi come on board. New award categories like F8 photography competition and on the spot mobile filmmaking were introduced and prizes worth Rs. 1,50,000 were distributed among winners, bringing along much enthusiasm and great participation from the youth.  

 

 

First Frame 2014:

This sixth edition was launched with new award categories introduced, bigger prize money, more entries from across the globe and association with bigger personalities from the industry. People like Mr. Hemant Gaba (Independent Film maker), Pankaj Johar (Partner at Pennywise Films), Asheesh Pandya (Sound Designer), Rajni Basumatary (Writer and producer), Mike & Berry (Film maker) Ranjit Kapoor (writer, director & Screen Writer), Shailendra Pandey and Shazia Khan (Director).

 

 

 

First Frame 2003

The first edition of First Frame Film Festival took off with great start with films being screened in the Indian capital from major media colleges- MBICEM, Indraprastha College for Women, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Mass Communication and Xavier’s Institute of Mass Communication.

 

 

First Frame 2004

The second edition of the festival went on to become a national students’ film festival. Premier media institutes across the country extended an enthusiastic participation- Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), National Institute of Design (NID), Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Mass Communication Research Center (MCRC)- Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi University, Amity University and Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication. The event was held at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi.

 

 

First Frame 2007:

In its third edition, First Frame took a significant leap and became international. The festival received entries from countries like Germany, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Italy et al alongwith national entries from various media colleges and institutes of India. The festival was held at Sri Satya Sai Auditorium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This year, we plan for even bigger with the prize money being DOUBLED from the previous edition and the new categories are also being introduced. Being the seventh edition, we have decided to provide seven themes to the participants as they can select their favorite theme themselves and can work according to it. With the mounting list of guests and celebrities, we will surprise the audience with some renowned faces from the field of media and glamour.

The festival aims to provide a global platform to the amateur film makers and photographers to exhibit their share of innovation in the art of film making and skills in photography. The Festival aims to raise all bars and elevate all avenues to higher horizons.
